SWIMMING CHAMPIONSHIPS

NEW FOR 2012 -- This year, the entire championships will be held in one day on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at Cumberland Valley High School.

• 7:30 AM Warm Ups begin
• 10:00 AM Meet Starting Time
   
• Events are as follows:
• 200 Medley Relay
• 200 Freestyle
• 200 Individual Medley
• 50 Freestyle
• 100 Butterfly
• 200 Freestyle Relay
• 100 Freestyle
• 500 Freestyle
• 100 Backstroke
• 100 Breaststroke
• 400 Freestyle Relay

ADMISSIONS

ADMISSION FEE -- $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for students. All money from admissions goes to the Mid Penn Conference.

PROGRAMS -- Souvenir programs including the heat sheets for the Championships will be on sale to all spectators for $5.00.

REFRESHMENTS -- Cumberland Valley Swimming and Diving Booster Club will provide a full service concession stand.

AWARDS

Medals for individual events and relays will be awarded for the First through Eighth place. The first eight places will be called to the awards platform to receive their awards.

SWIM SHOP

A swim shop will be set up in the Eagle Lobby right outside the pool for both days. They will have a wide variety of swim wear and accessories for purchase.

ENTRIES

All participating schools will be entitled to enter a maximum of 2 relay teams for each relay event and 4 individuals in the individual events. The number of participants fore each event will be limited to the the top 32 times. Qualification Guidelines have been established for each event.

Individuals are permitted to enter a maximum of four events with no more than two of which may be individual events.

OFFICIALS

All National Federation of State High School Associations 2010-11 Swimming and Diving rules apply. Officials will represent the following PIAA chapters:

• Cumberland Valley Chapter Swim Officials
